CHARACTERISTIC OF GIANT MAGNETORESISTANCE COFE/CU/COFE SANDWICH ON SI (100) SUBSTRAT IN PERPENDICULAR GEOMETRY GROWN BY DC-SPUTTERING

Abstract
We have prepared unpinned CoFe/Cu/CoFe sandwiches on Si(100) substrate by dc-sputtering. The hysteresis loop was characterized by Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) type OXFORD VSM1.2H, and the magnetoresistance was characterized by Current Perpendicular (CPP) method. We have measured the hysteresis loop to study the magnetization of the sandwich. The magnetoresistance ratio was found to be increasing with the addition of the CoFe thickness.
