SURFACE RESISTANCE OF YBA2CU3O7-DELTA THIN FILMS SUPERCONDUCTOR BY MEANS DIELECTRIC RESONATORS

The surface resistance of YBa2Cu3O7-delta thin film has been measured by using the sapphire dielectric resonator with copper cylindrical shield and two endplates replaced by High Temperature Superconductors (HTS) layers. The resonant system using the TE011 mode has resonant frequency of about 24.614 GHz and the unloaded-Qo factor of about 308928.1781. From the temperature dependence surface resistance measurement, it was found that the surface resistance of YBa2Cu3O7-delta thin films on LaAlO3 substrate was 2.23 mOhm at at 77K, and was 0.369 mOhm at 10 GHz (factor scaled) and at 77K.
