CASIMIR EFFECT: A MACROSCOPIC PHENOMENON OF QUANTUM VACUUM FLUCTUATION

Vacuum fluctuation in quantum field give rise to observable force between material bodies called Casimir force. Its strong depends on shape, geometry and topology of the materials. Some formulations have been introduced and we present a path integral approach for the case of complex scalar field.
